Deborah Ann Posada, CPA, CFP®
As a principal, Debbie has over 25 years of public accounting experience having graduated from University of Texas-Pan American.  Debbie has extensive experience in business, trust, estate, gift, tax-exempt organization and individual taxation.  She is responsible for the firm's overall client development and firm management.  Debbie is in charge of tax return review, business consulting, tax research and personal financial planning.  She has also volunteered as a board member, advisor and committee member for various tax-exempt organizations including Covering All Care for Kids, Full-Circle Learning Inc., Gramercy Housing Group and Full-Circle Learning Academy. 

During her time at KPMG, LLP in Corpus Christi, Texas, and as a senior tax manager at J. Arthur Greenfield & Co., LLP in Los Angeles, Debbie developed extensive experience in high-wealth individual multi-state tax planning, estate/trust/gift taxation, business setup and liquidations, stock-option planning for business executives, client representation in IRS/FTB audits, court and trust accountings, tax-exempt organization consulting, employee benefit plan reporting, oil and gas taxation, and audits of governmental and tax-exempt organizations.  She concurrently attended UCLA and obtained her Certified Financial PlannerTM certification in 2001 which has allowed her to expand firm services to include formal personal financial planning.   

Debbie has a passion for working with clients to find the most beneficial tax and finanicial solutions.  She commits over 80 hours a year to continue expanding her professional education and is excited to help offer important tax and financial information to clients through the firm's newsletters and website.  Debbie is a member of the California Society of CPAs, Financial Planning Association, Beta Gamma Sigma, National Association of Female Executives, Phi Kappa Phi, American Association of University Women, UCLA Alumni Association and UTPA Alumni Association.

Nancy Mizuno, CPA, CFP®
As a Principal, Nancy has over 10 years of public accounting experience and graduated from California State Univeristy-Northridge.  Nancy is responsible for preparation of multi-state individual, corporate, partnership/LLC, trust/estate/gift tax returns, employee benefit plan reporting, and tax research.  She is in charge of all business management and payroll reporting services. Nancy coordinates all software and accounting system setup for new businesses including offsite client visits around the state of CA.  In addition, Nancy serves our firm as Chief Financial Officer and attends over 80 hours a year of professional continuing education. 

While at J. Arthur Greenfield & Co.,  LLP in Los Angeles, she developed diversified experience in high-wealth individual taxation and planning, trust/estate/gift taxation, corporate and LLC taxation, court and trust accountings, business management services, comprehensive payroll reportings, tax-exempt organization taxation, income tax projections, and IRS/FTB/EDD client representation.  After attending UCLA, she received her Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 2009 placing her in an exclusive  group of CPAs who hold such certification.
Nancy enjoys working with clients and is a valued advisor with patience to teach and ability to guide.  She is a member of the California Socieity of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association.

George Abraham Posada, J.D.
Junior Tax Associate 
Joining the firm in December 2014, George brings experience in individual federal taxation, representation before the U.S. Tax Court, IRS examination and audit representation, collection due process hearings, liens and levies, identity theft, collections and Offers in Compromise, and client representation in federal tax controversy/dispute resolution proceedings before the IRS Appeals Office.   He graduated cum laude from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting, and Financial Services/Risk Management.  In 2013. he graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law and received his license from the State Bar of Texas. 
George worked at the St. Mary's University School of Law clinical education program as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Supervising Attorney.  He instructed a clinical course in federal taxation covering income tax law, IRS administrative procedure, and U.S. Tax Court procedure.  He also supervised students in income tax preparation and federal tax controversy matters.  He also served as the Site Manager at the St. Mary's University Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. 
George was awarded the Accounting Excellence Award by the Accounting Education Foundation of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. in recognition of excellence in accounting courses , as well as, overall academic achievement and ethical standards.  He also committed time to community service including pro bono activities such as "Tax Court Calendar Call" representing Pro Se taxpayers at Tax Court, and many educational outreach events to low-income ESL neighborhoods.  George was awarded the Pro Bono Certificate upon graduating law school. 
George is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and United States Tax Court.  He is a member of the American Bar Association-Tax Section, San Antonio Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.
